Pixie was an adorable Romney sheep, twin of Pixel born to their mama Snowy on shearing day one year! What a day! We miss all three of them but my other sheep got after me about my shameful stash of fleeces?? Stinkers.
SO, here is 2 ply yarn I spun from Pixie’s last fleece. It is soft enough for most any project and has Tussah Silk blended in. The yarn takes dye like a sponge if you need a sultry color for your project. Don’t miss out!

Pixie is a sweet girl! She is one of very few lambs born on our farm- and was a big shearing day morning surprise! Her mama retired here from the McNair flock because she was too 'round' to get pregnant. Well, surprise! The following spring she gave us twin black lambs. What a wonderful surprise! She is a gorgeous Romney sheep with a silvery fleece that ranges from light silver to dark gray. The yarn is two ply, soft enough for any project and would soak up dye like a sponge. Pixie had Shari add in some sparkle and bamboo fiber in during carding. Don’t miss it!
