Needlecraft Magazines (1920's)

$5.00

I hope all you crafters and artists are ready for me to offer up some of my stash? I have been so lucky to find such wonderful magazines and such at very reasonable prices. Because of that, we can offer items at prices that are easy to afford!

These are Needlecraft Magazines from the year 1920. They measure 11” x 16” inches and the covers feature color illustrations. There are 26 pages in each. You will find a variety of articles, patterns and lots of ads. Even a bit of poetry, stories and household tips. Most of the pages are black and white with occasional colored pages. Sometimes there is a color theme throughout for the page headings.

For as old as the magazines are, they are in great shape. There is wear and aging you would expect but the pages are strong. I’ve used them in journals on their own, the paper is quite strong, does not crack if you fold it. You could create your own paper dolls by fussy cutting the illustrations too. The ads make great tags- sky’s the limit here everyone!

I have not had it in me to cut all my copies up - yet. I am admiring some of them for a little while first. In the meantime, I have a LOT of them that I will be offering up a year’s worth at a time. If you would like a list of what I have here, please send us an email.

Sheep’s Notes: You will love the magazines! We’ve posted a picture of the front of each magazine. The page pictures are a variety of what you can find in this brand of magazine. At one time in their lives they were folded in half for storage. The folds are not creased and folding them in half would make them less expensive and easier to ship. They do have a bit of ‘vintage’ aroma but an airing out takes care of that.

Price: $5 each

(The sheep photo is our Sir Maxwell sheep- he’s all grown up now though! Read more about him here…. )
