Our Chaquita's Llama fiber!
Chaquita is the guardian of our little 'flock' of goats--she keeps a good eye on her four charges--her favorite is Odey. She thinks he is her baby--pretty funny to see her when Odey has gone and caused trouble with his friends--then runs to hide under Chaquita's tummy--knowing nobody will come to get him THERE! ha!

Chaquita was an adoption from a friend because that llama could NOT behave up there. SO, now that she has a job with the goats, Chaquita has been a good girl. She can be pretty sassy though--you have to be careful, if she gets ticked off, she will send out a very well aimed SPIT--eeewww. Silly llama!

Her fleece features locks of 3+ inches, very little debris to remove and is soft! Her guard hair is soft too so I usually do not remove it before spinning her fiber. Easy to dye, card or spin right as it is--all washed and ready to go!

8-25-08- Ooh la la! We did it--update is done and ready for browsing! I am working on getting a yarn update ready and we will be updating weekly again, fall is here early and we have lots to get done outside for the sheep's winter comfort! Make sure you are on our email list??!! :0)
