Our Sunny Boy!
Our Sunny Boy!
Sunny is a so fun sheep! He is the mirror image of our first ever sheep Mina--only healthy! It is so good to have a floppy eared sheep in our midst again--I miss Mina so much!

Sunny arrived as a fat little bottle lamb from our friends the Thompson's flock. He has grown into a beautiful, soft and snuggly boy--who is living with Dalai's gang now. His fleece is very Suffolk-y but soft like a Border Leicester or Romney (both of which are in this little flock). His ears look too big for him, like a little Eyore sheep and he has the personality to match--I swear! He just doopty doops through life, his best friend is Jonte but he likes anyone--specially us with treats! His voice is very high though for such a big sheep--just cracks me up--sounds a little like George of the Jungle when he hollers! :0)

11-17-08-Update set for Wednesday of this week--stay tuned for our new Jordan Valley Mill Spun--combinations of yarn spun for us at Argyle Fiber Mill from our own sheep's fiber and Jenny's alpaca/llama fiber--big fun and big news!!! (our first yarn--sock yarn!!!)
