Our Crazy Quilt Batts!
Our Crazy Quilt Batts!
Homestead Specialty Crazy Quilt Spinning/Felting Batts! Our batt creations are just too fun to spin! I card the batts right here at our farm on our Patrick Green jumbo batt carder (electric) and no spinning oils--just a spritz of special Lavendar essential oil mix that keeps the wool protected and smelling great until you are ready to spin the fiber!

The batts are put through the carder three times for smooth blending (Blended) OR only once for our 'Bump In The Night' batts that are great for novelty yarns with lots of texture and personality....

Batts measure approximately 18x36 and are wonderfully easy to spin! (this picture is an example of our batts--please browse the roving and batt page to see what is currently available!) We are also happy to create Crazy Quilt batts for you in any amount--just send the sheep an email!! :0)

Not a spinner yet? We are happy to hand spin this fiber for you, just email for details!

7-29-10- UPDATE FINITO- finally! Hope you will have a good browse- be sure to look through all the fiber pages, new fibers pop up on ALL of them, not just the first! The big Baaazinga fiber party will begin on Sunday, Aug 1- giddyup!
