Our Gabriella-Rug Hooking by Dennis T!
I tell you, our Dennis is such a talent! His rug hookings are outstanding and the pictures never do them justice! He took a picture of our Gabriella sheep, a wonderful Cotswold girl we rescued from a sad situation a bit ago. She is all curly and cute and he captured that in this picture so well!

The sheep has a red based stained glass type design and an outer frame of dark green--and is signed by Dennis. The artwork hangs from a dowel rod sewed into the back. The picture measures approx 12x12.

Dennis finds his wool for hooking at thrift stores, old wool jackets and coats are his favorite--they go home, he cuts them into strips and dyes them himself to get just the right colors. Then he designs the picture and gets hooking!

Take home a special picture of our curly girl Gabriella!! (we will also be offering Dennis' art work as a regular part of our site soon!)

10-5-08- Rainy day update is ready for browsing! The sheep will have a larger update this week, washed, dyed and unwashed wool and hoping for a box from the mills!!-- be sure you are on our mailing list ok? :0)

If you ever need something you do not see on the site, please email the sheep--we are happy to get you fixed up with some spectacular fiber and yarn!!
