My Peanut Sheep....
My Peanut Sheep....
Not long after Gracie came Peanut and as you can see from his picture, what a tiny sheep-12 inches long and weighed in at about 1 1/2 pounds! Today he is another beautiful tri-colored Lincoln cross sheep from Mary's herd that is about the same size as our Shetlands. He is usually not far from me wherever I am and still thinks he needs to live in the house.... Update: - Peanut is just about the most wonderful sheep you could ask for! He is best buds with Rudy and he loves to go for long walks in the pasture with us! He is a pretty Lincoln/Romney cross sheep and his fleece is wonderful, soft and ranges in color from barely silver/cream to chestnut brown/black with lock lengths of 4-6 inches.....

Sadly, I went out to do chores recently and found my poor Peanut had passed away in his sleep. I am still devastated, I was unable to even move his story to our angel page til now--and it just kills me. I miss Peanut and while I am glad he had no suffering, I still wish for one last goodbye and a smooch.....


 


News Update

7-29-10- UPDATE FINITO- finally! Hope you will have a good browse- be sure to look through all the fiber pages, new fibers pop up on ALL of them, not just the first! The big Baaazinga fiber party will begin on Sunday, Aug 1- giddyup!
