Cosmo & Jelly Bean!
Cosmo & Jelly Bean!
Meet our bottle lambs we were lucky to adopt from our friend Mary's flock! The little lamb with the short ears is Cosmo a pretty little Romney cross and his buddy lamb is Jelly Bean- a little Shetland/? cross. Jelly Bean very much reminds us of our Molly! They are happy boys and are doing very well--except for Cosmo's manners in that last picture! Cosmo has a little trouble with his right eye but with two little staples in place, his eyelid will heal so that his eyelashes no longer poke him in the eye! They are very very sweet boys!

Cosmo's fleece is very Romney-like, locks of 4-6 inches, soft and low lanolin levels. Jelly Bean leans to the Romney in his background too, but is more a medium softness that would not be good for someone with sensitive skin. However, the long locks make it wonderful for socks, outerwear and felting--along with a very low lanolin content.

7-29-10- UPDATE FINITO- finally! Hope you will have a good browse- be sure to look through all the fiber pages, new fibers pop up on ALL of them, not just the first! The big Baaazinga fiber party will begin on Sunday, Aug 1- giddyup!
