Marshall & Theo!
Meet Marshall- our latest addition--we couldn't resist the opportunity to add another of our friend Bev's colored Corriedales to our flock! He is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful, calm little sheep who is fitting in like he's been here forever! He is 6 months old. His 'brother' just won Grand Champion Ram and Champion Wool Ram at the Green County Fair--the little ram is owned by a friend! We are looking forward to another beautiful fleece each spring!  (Marshall is named for Professor F.R. Marshall who along with Farnk S. King went to New Zealand in 1914 to bring the very first Corriedale sheep to the US...)

Theo is a pretty little Corriedale lamb we adopted from a friend. He got off to a slow start in life but is catching up quickly, scampering around the pasture with the other babies. His name is Greek for 'gift from God' and that is exactly how we think of him.... more to follow! He loves his big brother Marshall!!

Marshall's fleece is turning to a very gorgeous silvery chestnut color, with locks of 4+ inches, and soft as Merino/Rambouillet wool. Theo's is the same, only a creamy white.

10-5-08- Rainy day update is ready for browsing! The sheep will have a larger update this week, washed, dyed and unwashed wool and hoping for a box from the mills!!-- be sure you are on our mailing list ok? :0)

If you ever need something you do not see on the site, please email the sheep--we are happy to get you fixed up with some spectacular fiber and yarn!!
