Bettis was a wild one when he came here but within two weeks, he decided we weren't such bad people! He loves to be scratched and treats but we ended up naming him after Jerome Bettis of the Pittsburgh Steelers because if he gets nervous, that head goes down and look out! He has never tried to use his horns on us but we are careful with him anyway! He is a very sweet Icelandic/Merino cross boy!  His fleece is a blend of the soft Merino and guard hair from the Icelandic, soft, locks of 4+ inches and usually is a very clean fellow.

Fletcher is one of our favorite names because it can be found on both the Ryan & Hilton family trees! So, Fletcher it was for this guy, he is the shyest of the OohMahNee group and has not decided to be very cuddly yet. He is an older Merino boy and is very handsome and stately with a beautiful fleece..... He does love his treats and he is a good caretaker of the other sheep in the group.

11-17-08-Update set for Wednesday of this week--stay tuned for our new Jordan Valley Mill Spun--combinations of yarn spun for us at Argyle Fiber Mill from our own sheep's fiber and Jenny's alpaca/llama fiber--big fun and big news!!! (our first yarn--sock yarn!!!)
