Vincent Van Goat & Bela La Goatie!
Vincent Van Goat & Bela La Goatie!
Vincent Van Goat (a Lamancha cross) arrived here about 13 years ago after completing a stint as a 'lab rat' at the local technical college in the veterinary technician program. He is so wonderful! He moves a little slower now after he fell several years ago and broke his front knee but it doesn't slow him down much.

He is starting to show his age a bit so we have moved him into his own special condo along with his best friends Bella, Miette, Shimmer & Magpie.

Isabelle (aka Bella La Goatie) is a new addition to our little group of goaties-- Isabelle is now very attached to our Vini, who is very in love with her! They are inseparable and so sweet--two older goats who made instant friends so late in their little lives... Her favorite movie is anything that involved Bela Lugosi--her scary hero!

After many years of seeing Vini's happy, calm face every time I went outside, I am so missing him now. He was over 14 years old and we had to let him go this summer so this is still very difficult to write. Not over a week later, Bela gave in and we also had to let her go--her arthritis was horrid and she was having terrible pain. I hope they are together in heavan, they were both the sweetest goats ever--I will miss them forever....
