Our 'Hamalot'!
Our 'Hamalot'!
We are so excited to welcome Pal and Peanut the pot belly pigs to our farm! We have been hoping that some little pig (s) would find their way here and here they are! They are very loved by their former owner, but some life changes have forced our friend to make some very courageous decisions on finding new forever homes for a few of her charges. We will be happy to have them here and look forward to taking good care of these two tame pigs who like to go for walks and play in puddles! More to follow as soon as they arrive and a big thank you to our sweet friend Gayle for sharing her 'family' with us! 

Pal and Peanut are a favorite attraction to the farm now, they are the sweetest critters you ever could hope to have. I cannot imagine life with out them and am constantly amazed at how smart they are and how they are able to communicate with us to let us know what they need or in most cases, want. Such as blueberry bagels, Fruit Loops (of course), fruit, yams, seedless grapes and their favorite fall food is the apples that fall from the three apple trees in their pasture. They often con our son Ross into going out to pick for them, or to shake the trees for a real treat from the skies!

10-5-08- Rainy day update is ready for browsing! The sheep will have a larger update this week, washed, dyed and unwashed wool and hoping for a box from the mills!!-- be sure you are on our mailing list ok? :0)

If you ever need something you do not see on the site, please email the sheep--we are happy to get you fixed up with some spectacular fiber and yarn!!
