Calvin!
Calvin!
Calvin arrived here as a 6 month old puppy whose owner traveled and could not care for him. He is a great little Jack Russell who is very busy around the farm! His favorite things to do are walks in the pastures, keeping an eye on the baby lambs and goats and playing with toys.

Calvin is busy as ever, specially searching out Libby's 'secret' stash of toys and treats that she keeps hidden away in the two old dog houses in their yard. The dogs houses were home to our farm' previous owner's dogs but Libby likes to use them as a treasure trove while she is outside playing! Calvin always checks the houses first thing in the morning when they go outside after breakfast!

Calvin is also getting older and grayer, somewhere in the last few years he has developed a healthy fear of thunderstorms. We have some special 'doggie downers' for him to take when we have specially loud thunder or lots of lightning-- he also gets to sleep upstairs IN bed with us to hide under the covers if we have stormy nights. Of course he insists on sleeping with his head on the pillow just like any other 'person' does! 


 


News Update

7-29-10- UPDATE FINITO- finally! Hope you will have a good browse- be sure to look through all the fiber pages, new fibers pop up on ALL of them, not just the first! The big Baaazinga fiber party will begin on Sunday, Aug 1- giddyup!
