Chaz & Thor Baby!
Chaz & Thor Baby!
Thor (a 4 1/2 pound Poodle mix) came to us as a 6 week old puppy rescued from a puppy mill. He was not able to be put up for adoption as he is epileptic. He is 8 years old now, has 4 teeth left and very 'helpful' around the shop--he loves to skirt wool!! 

Thor is looking forward to a hair cut in the next few days and adding to new fiber blends for the website! He is still a spunky little prankster who loves to play--and bark! Such a big bark for a little dog who has recently lost his hearing... Lucky for all of us, he was taught Libby's sign language as Libby learned so we are still able to use basic signals with him. He loves sitting by the fire at night and having a good nap being rocked in the rocking chair!

Chaz and Thor are best friends, spending hours sleeping the time away next to the fireplace! Chaz came to us when his owner lost her sight and she was looking for a safe place for him to live. He is 18 years old and full of mischief! He loves to do tricks and playing ball.

 Chaz is still his bouncy self but is slowing down a little as his eyes dim with age. He can still see but only up close-- our Moose is such a wonderful dog in that way, he keeps a good eye on Chaz, just like he did our blind Shihtzu Oscar. We hope Chaz will not be completely blind but he is getting on in years--if he does go blind, the dogs do remarkably well adapting as their sight fades, most often you will not even notice unless you rearrange furniture in your house! I think it is often harder on the owners than the dog.... He is a peach and best friends with our little peanut Thor!

10-5-08- Rainy day update is ready for browsing! The sheep will have a larger update this week, washed, dyed and unwashed wool and hoping for a box from the mills!!-- be sure you are on our mailing list ok? :0)

If you ever need something you do not see on the site, please email the sheep--we are happy to get you fixed up with some spectacular fiber and yarn!!
