A surprising sock yarn- I love the color! The fiber is natural Jacob wool from Carl & Becky's sheep blended with Cotswold wool. When the roving came home from Shari's, I dyed it up some warm gold colors. The shine from the Cotswold is so pretty, and the natural colors of the Jacob give the yarn a really neat rustic charm. This is one ply, another ply to go, then plying- chugging along!

(I always have sock yarn going on my old Norwegian spinning wheel....)

Second yarn is on the wheel to go to Barbara our wonderful sock knitter- she keeps us warm! ;0) It is one ply of our Lincoln x sheep blended with Mohair from our goaties; the second ply is a pretty deep violet thread. Ooh la la!!


 


News Update

7-29-10- UPDATE FINITO- finally! Hope you will have a good browse- be sure to look through all the fiber pages, new fibers pop up on ALL of them, not just the first! The big Baaazinga fiber party will begin on Sunday, Aug 1- giddyup!
