A yarn made up with fiber from some great friends in our flock! Ruby, her baby Frannie and their buddy Frosty! Ruby is an old, sweet Suffolk sheep; Frannie is Ruby's baby and twin to our Tater- both Suffolk/Corriedale crosses; and Frosty is a Lincoln cross. All love hugs, walks in the pasture, detective novels and of course, the favorite treat here- fruit loops! ;0) You can see more pictures and read more about them in our 'meet the sheep pages' too!

This is a two ply yarn that I spun with a side by side roving that blended each sheep's wool. As I spun one ply, I added in random Coopworth locks (from Jacob's happy flock). Then I spun a fine ply of the base yarn, and plyed the two together. This is a very striking yarn, sure to be a hit in your next beautiful project! Try something new, with lots of our sheep's karma included! (rx size 11 or larger knitting needle)

7-29-10- UPDATE FINITO- finally! Hope you will have a good browse- be sure to look through all the fiber pages, new fibers pop up on ALL of them, not just the first! The big Baaazinga fiber party will begin on Sunday, Aug 1- giddyup!
