Chaquita, Max and Locks and more!
Chaquita, Max and Locks and more!
This is a great, special yarn that I spun from our Chaquita and Max' llama fibers. As I spun the fiber, I added in random, hand dyed curly locks, then plyed it up with a handspun single of naturally striped Romney wool from Basil.

Chaquita is a sweet girl with an attitude- she watches over our goaties. She takes her job very seriously, decides when the goats get up AND go to bed- which they do not appreciate. She 'puts them to bed' at dark, lays down in the door of their house, and the goats sneak out the back door. This sneak and chase goes on for hours, til the goats have decided it IS time for bed!

Max watches over our younger llamas and alpacas now. He is a big boy, and very proud of his beautiful fleece. He is also very serious about his job- his best buds are the two alpacas, Cabbage and Donagee.... You can read more about them in our meet the sheep pages!

This all makes for a very spcial yarn, that only needs your karma to complete the circle from our sheep to your hands/project. The yarn is soft enough for most any project, but maybe not next to the face for people that have the most sensitive skin.... (the sheep recommend size 13 or larger knitting needle)

Chaquita/Max Locks and more yarn (2 ply)- skeins available: 2 skeins that include 50 yards/3.5 ounces each-Price $24 each; 1 that includes 75 yards/3.5 ounces-Price $28; 1 that includes 100 yards/7 ounces-Price $35
