A Bit About The 'Chics'!
A Bit About The 'Chics'!
Nancy Hilton Wonder Lake, Illinois

1Chic: My mom is the most dedicated licensed rescuer of wildlife, working her entire summer and fall to save baby squirrels, rabbits and possums that are orphaned or injured. In her 'free' time, my mom has been busy taking over the scarf design and knitting for our business--the scarves we offer are created from my handspun yarn, that mom combines with various quality novelty yarns to create a unique, fashionable scarf-- that is not only very warm--but also fun to wear! You will never be wearing your new scarf and see another one like it!!

Barbara Toren Elgin, Illinois

2 Chic: Barbara has been my mom's best friend for as long as I can remember! They have been close for years and over that time, I am proud to be able to call her my best friend too! She lives in the town I grew up in, spending lots of time enjoying her grandchildren. She is a talented knitter and has taken over the mitten and hat design/knitting for us. We are so excited to have her working with us, again with yarn spun by me, carried into her own knitting talents! Keep an eye out for her wonderful creations-they will be available soon!

Sandy Ryan Monroe, Wisconsin

3 Chic: And then there is me, who you are all familiar with! I get to spend my time playing with our beloved sheep AND all my other time spinning yarn! Lucky lucky me! I will be putting together new shawls, ponchos and more from my handspun, designed by yours truly to keep you warm from fall hikes to the porch swing! Or to cozy up by the fire place! Keep an eye out and treat yourself or someone special to some sheep karma-we think you will find the sheep's charm and spirit, and the circle that goes from sheep to spinner, to knitter, to you!

We also spend time knitting for charities--if you know of one that we should consider, please let us know!!
