Piper's Glen!
Piper's Glen!
Piper is a sweet sweet boy who was one of the very few lambs born here. What an adventure! His mama is our Abigail, and his twin brother is Baaxter. Piper has been my shadow since the minute he was born- despite my best efforts to be sure he attached to Abi! He had/has the best mama- and still decided to be a bottle lamb.... too fun for me! He lived with Abi and I fed him, and he followed me EVERY where- slept under my loom, helped me sort fleeces- you name it! He is still a very close member of his family- Abi, Baaxter and Abi's daughter Laura.... I so love that they stay with each other!

Piper is a beautiful silvery gray Romney sheep (from our friends the McNair's famous flock) with next to the skin soft wool- that as you can see dyes up wonderfully! Almost a sin to dye it but Piper insisted! (the sheep recommend size 11 or larger knitting needle)

Piper's Glen, single ply yarn available: 1 that includes 120 yards/4 ounces- Price $20

This would be a great match to our Irish Fen yarn too!

3-10-10- Working on a yarn update for this weekend- keep good thoughts for the taking of great pictures- a talent I sorely lack! Fiber update set for Monday- happy March everyone!
