Monroe Sheepy Police Detectives!

Meet Andrew Sipowicz (right) and his partner/sister and his partner/sister Bobbi Simone (left)-our flock detectives & foot patrol!  

  Bobbi & Andrew are beautiful dogs who do great work guarding our sheep and goats! They have a small group of sheep to keep watch over and are kept very busy. Bobbi is the 'tracker' and sounds the alarm when things are not quite right and Andrew takes his place in between Bobbi & the 'danger' and his sheep to protect them. They are an amazing pair that works well together and it is so wonderful to see how they just naturally know how to do their job. They are happy puppies too that love to play tug with each other and chase milk jugs around the pasture. The sheep keep them in line and often we find the dogs curled up around a sheep taking a nap--specially Jim's sheep Ruby! 

Bobbi & Andrew have joined up with our Dalai Llama in guarding the sheep- as one big group now. We had to make some adjustments when the barn wall needed repair last summer. It worked out so well to have them all together that we decided to keep them that way for a while longer! They three work very well together and I think it is a little easier for Dalai too....
