Noodle waddled into our lives shortly after Libby turned 1 year old. She came from the same breeder who wanted a good owner for another deaf puppy. And who was I to say no?? Bwaahahahaha!

Luckily we already had a system down from teaching and learning from Libby. Noodle learned fast so we soon had two good deaf dogs.

Noodle has a very different personality than Libby, even though they have the same parents. Noodle is more what I would call 'wolfie'? She's longer legged and a bit taller than Libby. She does the BC stalk a lot. She's pretty good with other dogs but she was terrible with Odin while he was with us. She picked fights with him many times, each of which she ended up rolled on her back with that giant of a dog Odin giving her a good view of his teeth. He never hurt her but it never taught her not to challenge him either. We could not figure that out.

Thinking back, she was the same way with Andrew when he was trying to recover from his cancer surgery. He stayed in the house for about 24 hours and then could not stand being away from his sheep. Noodle was the same way with him she was with Odin. We were not aware that Odin had any health issues, but we think Noodle can tell? She did not pick even one fight with Lincoln when he spent his afternoon inside with me. Not once. That's the only way that part of Noodle makes sense to me!

She is very much hubby Jim's dog. She does not leave his side when he's home. I tease him and say if he stops short, his dog might end up someplace he doesn't want her! ha! When he's home, that dog HAS to know where he is every second or she gets all upset and frantic. She's a very good, beautiful girl we are proud to call ours!

She does have one teensy habit that makes me crazy though. She LOVES her naps! Most of the time that is all she does til her hero gets home from work again... makes it very tempting to curl up and join her!

2016- Noodle is 11 now and not acting her age- which to me is a good thing! She's a busy busy girl and waits outside for her Jim to come home- every day. No matter what the weather. If I want her to come in out of the rain or snow, I have to chase her around and carry her into the house. Least she doesn't get all wiggly on the way right?

She misses her sister Libby but is making a new friend in Jim's other dog, Milo the Great Pyrenees. Interesting combination! Go Noodle!
