Stylin' in Lime! (hat)
Stylin' in Lime! (hat)

Our little scamp sheep Cosmo arrived as a bottle lamb some years back. He's been a constant source of silly from day one of his little life. He lived the first few months in the house with us because it was so cold when he was born. I'm sure you've all read about the joy a lamb brings to the house. I absolutely adore them! We don't breed our sheep so the only way we have lambs here is if a mom arrives already pregnant. OR a friend calls with a bottle lamb in need. Then I SQUEEE and go scoop them up! Cosmo grew up with Happy and they are so close even after all this time. You can read more about them in our meet the sheep pages!

Cosmo grew into a beautiful Lincoln cross sheep. He has such silky soft wool that he loves to design with. He had me spin up a bit of his fleece he dyed a pretty lime green. Then he sent the yarn to my Mom (Nancy). She sent back this absolutely fun hand knit hat! Cosmo loves how it turned out and whispered to me that if it doesn't sell, he wants to wear it so he can be Stylin' in Lime'. The other sheep would be so jealous... :0)

News Update

3/14/15-Working toward a mid-week update. It's mud city here already- eek! Warm enough the sheep want to unload their woolie coats. Reminded them this is Wisconsin and it stays cold til April now. That little tidbit did not go over very well...

Don't forget we have wool and fiber available year round.
