Goliath's Scarf!
Goliath's Scarf!

Goliath is one of our older sheep who arrived here as a bottle lamb- with a whole bunch of others. They tromped around our house for a few months because they were born in the coldest part of winter. The moms can't always get them dry fast enough, specially when they have twins. There is often one twin who is off and running right away and mom needs to keep track of him. The other twin might be slower and gets left behind. She tries so hard! His little family is still close within the flock. They take good care of each other. His best friend is Gilmore- you can read more about them in our meet the sheep pages!

Goliath recruited Gilmore and they decided to combine some of their wool. They dyed it this gorgeous green and asked me to spin it into a single ply yarn. They sent it to my Mom. She knit it into this gorgeous scarf- ooh la la! Soft, warm and stylish!

The sheep girls want to wear this one in the worst way. Goliath and Gilmore said absolutely not!

Scarf measures approximately 44 inches long x 3.5 inches wide (not including fringe)

News Update

3/14/15-Working toward a mid-week update. It's mud city here already- eek! Warm enough the sheep want to unload their woolie coats. Reminded them this is Wisconsin and it stays cold til April now. That little tidbit did not go over very well...

Don't forget we have wool and fiber available year round.
If you don't see what you need listed on our website,
