Baaxter and his twin brother Piper were one of very few lambs born on our farm. Their mom Abigail retired here from the McNair flock and was pregnant when she arrived. She was an amazing mom and took wonderful care of the twins. It has been quite a few years since then and her babies are grown into some handsome fellows. They stay close and love to romp and play with the other sheep. They LOVE hugs and smooches- and Fruit Loops of course. You can read more about them in our meet the sheep pages.

Baaxter is a white Romney sheep and he dyed some of his fiber up into a jeweled green. It was blended with a little touch of Tussah Silk. I spun it into a 2 ply yarn and sent the yarn to my Mom. She knit it into this beautiful scarf. Perfect for dress up or jeans, will keep you toasty warm! Take a little bit of Baaxter out on the town!
