Our friends Graham & Margaret own a flock of happy sheep who gallop the pastures on their farm in central Wisconsin.

Part of their flock is made up of North Country Cheviot sheep- a beautiful stocky sheep that is very hardy. They also have lovely fleeces! You can read more about this group in our flock guide!

This fleece is from a papa sheep who is a pretty, silvery gray, with a tint of brown. The locks were about 2.5 to 3 inches long so the roving needs a little slower spin til you get used to the shorter locks- then off you go!

This is a medium wool with a bunch of bounce- and perfect for mittens, hats and ?? Add some rare wool to your next project!
