Greta! (sponsored)
Greta! (sponsored)

Greta is a wonderful little Shetland sheep who came to us from our friend Jane. She is a very wonderful little sheep with a beautiful fleece. She loves to visit with us and is quite the acrobatic jumper--Becan thinks she is very cute!

Greta brought her friends Claire, Arthur, Big Bram, Ranier and Arthur when she came. They stay together in a little family within the flock. They are little stinkers! Always into something, playing tag with any takers or lounging in the sun to get ready for the next round of tag!

Greta has a very pretty fawn fleece. The locks measure 3 to 4 inches long and she has a double coat. All very soft and gorgeous!!

Greta is slowing down now days, we moved her into the special needs/oldster group this summer because she is having a little trouble keeping her weight up. She can eat fresh alfalfa hay any time she wants to now- that is called sheep candy! She's a good girl and feeling much better. She misses her friends but has made a new friend in Speedy. Sheep are pretty good about being good friends. It makes me happy to see that.
