My little Piper sheep was one of a very few sheep actually born on our farm! His mom Abi retired here from the McNair flock and gave us the most wonderful present of not one, but TWO lambs! Piper was born black and his twin Baaxter is ivory. They are still very close now even though they are long ago grown up boys. Just like a little family within the flock. Piper's Romney wool is a dove gray with some black threads throughout. He had me spin a single ply of his wool, then a second ply of British Suffolk wool. Once I had them all plyed together, Piper popped them into the dye pots and came up with some gorgeous colors!

The yarn is not quite next to the skin soft so if your skin is sensitive, you would want to keep this yarn in an outer wear project. Great for felting, doll hair or?
