Piper & Baaxter!
Piper & Baaxter!

Abigail (another sheep who retired here from Ruth's McNair Romney flock) was the proud mom of twin boys after she arrived! A little coal black lamb named Piper and a pure white lamb named Baaxter....

Piper has grown into a mirror image of his mom, very much a silver streak! He loves me best though, chose to be a bottle lamb even though he had a perfectly good, protective mom! He stayed with his family but every time I was outside, he was with me everywhere, weeding gardens, skirting fleeces, sleeping under my loom! Then he got wise that he could outrun me so his escapades landed him banned from the yard! I still go for walks with him and he is a peach!

Baaxter takes after his papa, white and curly! He is a sweet pea and loves to be snuggled too. Although not as much as Piper--he is a more 'stately' fellow.

Piper & Baaxter are grown up boys now with beautiful fleeces and personalities to match. Piper is a mini-Abi with a silver spotted fleece that is soft as a cloud. He is a bit of a lug, still loves me best and is always up for a snuggle. Baaxter is a snuggler too but not as much as Piper--show him an apple treat though and he is mine--bwaaahahahahaha! Baaxter has a gorgeous fleece that is a creamy white, long locks and a pretty crimp. They are best friends and stay close together in the flock.

If you've ever watched the TV show 'Friends', the episode where Phoebe goes running is hilarious. For me because that is exactly how Piper runs! He is so flipping funny. Just a galoot galloping through the daisies of life! Gotta like that right?
