Piper! (sponsored)
Piper! (sponsored)

Abigail (another sheep who retired here from Ruth's McNair Romney flock) was the proud mom of twin boys after she arrived! A little coal black lamb named Piper and a pure white lamb named Baaxter....

Piper has grown into a mirror image of his mom, very much a silver streak! He loves me best though, chose to be a bottle lamb even though he had a perfectly good, protective mom! He stayed with his family but every time I was outside, he was with me everywhere, weeding gardens, skirting fleeces, sleeping under my loom! Then he got wise that he could outrun me so his escapades landed him banned from the yard! I still go for walks with him and he is a peach!

Piper is all grown up now with a silver spotted fleece that is soft as a cloud. He is a bit of a lug, still loves me best and is always up for a snuggle. Piper and Baaxter are as close as you could imagine twins to be. Abi passed away several years ago and they still miss her. I think sheep remember a lot more than people give them credit for. However, the boys stay together and run amok with the other sheep!

If you've ever watched the TV show 'Friends', the episode where Phoebe goes running is hilarious. For me because that is exactly how Piper runs! He is so flipping funny. Just a galoot galloping through the daisies of life! Gotta like that right?

Proud to be sponsored by Elyse!
