Aina Sheep! (Sponsored!)
Aina Sheep! (Sponsored!)

Aina is a cute little Lincoln cross sheep and in the first picture, the beautiful pitch black sheep on the right is Toshi (his name means spirited), a little Shetland sheep..

Aina is a sweet girl, very much in tune with our routine around here--treats treats treats! Maybe they learned that from ME?? I love treats! Specially ice cream. Lord help us if the sheep get on an ice cream kick! :0)

Her best friend of course is Toshi, but she is also very close to any of the sheep who like to nap in the sunshine. She's getting to be what we like to call a 'teenager' in our flock so has slowed down a little.

Aina's fleece is an adventure every shearing! She now is a very silvery ecru to honey color, with cinnamon colored tips from the sun. The color variations in her fleece are very striking-great for tail spinning, blending or spinning. Her locks are 4-5+ inches and on the medium side of soft. :0)

Her favorite treats are vanilla wafers. She still walks the fences with us when we are out looking for a place they can sneak out. I think she is a spy- lets the other sheep know what we found. Or didn't find!

Thank you for sponsoring Aina Susan!

2016: Aina is such a peach. She just turned 12 years old! She's starting to have some problems with arthritis but nothing that supplements won't help. She's living in our special needs group now and her best friend is Rudy. She loves vanilla wafers and naps in the sunshine...
