Our cute piglets!
Our cute piglets!

We were so excited to welcome Pal and Peanut the pot belly pigs to our farm some years ago! We had been hoping that some little pig (s) would find their way here at some point. They were very loved by their former owner, but some life changes forced her to make some very courageous decisions to find new forever homes for a few of her charges. W

Pal and Peanut are the sweetest critters you ever could hope to have. I cannot imagine life with out them and am constantly amazed at how smart they are and how they are able to communicate with us to let us know what they need or in most cases, want. Such as blueberry bagels, Fruit Loops (of course), fruit, yams, seedless grapes and their favorite fall food is the apples that fall from the three apple trees in their pasture. They often con our son Ross into going out to pick for them, or to shake the trees for a real treat from the skies!

Pal & Peanut are older pigs now so have special diets and they spend lots of time blowing bubbles in their in ground pool. (They dig out a pool every spring for us to fill up for them.) They love soft cushy quilts and sleeping bags to sleep on, and a nice tummy scratch too. They are absolutely freaking adorableness!

News Update

7/18/14- The sheep are enjoying some breezy, not so humid days. Even doing a little tanning of tummies and legs? Whoa!

They are also working on a new blog. We can get into the old one but not to edit or add to it. It will stay on our site as 'archives'. Lots to do lots to do.

Our next update will be Tuesday, July 22. If you are looking for something you don't see on the site, just send an email on over!

Smooches from the sheep!
