 Our yarn
Here and Far

Cassper came to us from our friend Mary's farm after Crissy passed away. Monte was fading before our eyes missing her so we decided he needed a new friend. Cassper and Monte were inseparable but after Monte passed away, Cassper needed a new friend. Poor Cassper!

Then came his new friends Cricket, Chelsea and Bull. Bull is Cassper's best friend now and he even managed to teach Bull (a giant Shire draft horse) that he is bigger than him? And can boss that big horse around? Hmmm.

Cassper is a constant source of humor! He loves to play ball and will carry just about anything as long as you walk with him. He is quite a character with lots of energy-and often too smart for his own good!

Cassper takes some MSM and Glucosamine now to help his back in the winter months--his curved spine has gotten worse as he has grown so at times, he is pretty stiff and sore in the coldest weather. (His mom was an elderly donkey when she was pregnant with Cassper--she was shot in the tummy while she was pregnant at my friend's farm. The bullet is lodged in Cassper's spine near his withers. Both survived and are fine, except for the permanent curve in Cassper's spine.) He doesn't let it slow him down though, you would never know he even had it to see him!

Casper has winter issues that include some scary times when he can not get to his feet with out help. He is always his sassy, somewhat naughty but still cute self!

He says his favorite video game is 'Donkey Kong', his favorite CD is Trace Adkins' song 'Honky Tonk Badonkkadonk' (even though we told him it was not his nick name 'honkey donkey' that they were singing about-he does not believe us!) and his favorite classic TV show is Hee Haw!
