Chance's Mittens! (Child's Large)
Chance's Mittens! (Child's Large)

Chance is a sweet sheep we adopted as a bottle lamb- along with his buddies Happy, Gilmore, Goliath, Frosty and Baab Hope. They spent their first winter tromping around in diapers, in the house with us! It is indescribable how happy the lambs are to trail around, stomping and running, then flopping down in the sunshine somewhere, on a soft baby blanket for a nice nap. When they are quiet, you better go find them though- they can get into plenty of mischief! You can read all about these now grown up boys on our meet the sheep pages- they are listed in Dalai Llama's group!

Chance is a very elegant white Lincoln cross sheep with silky wool. He had me spin his yarn with a bit of wool from his little family, some was dyed a faded lavender. Combined with the natural colors in the other wool, this is a nice, subtle heathered look.

After I spun the yarn up, I sent it to my friend Barbara (one of the 3 Chick Knitters). Barbara sent home this cute, warm set of hand knit mittens! They are a child's size large- perfet for outside time to keep those fingers warm! A sweet pair of mittens packed full with Chance karma!

Handwash only, lay flat to dry

News Update

7/18/14- The sheep are enjoying some breezy, not so humid days. Even doing a little tanning of tummies and legs? Whoa!

They are also working on a new blog. We can get into the old one but not to edit or add to it. It will stay on our site as 'archives'. Lots to do lots to do.

Our next update will be Tuesday, July 22. If you are looking for something you don't see on the site, just send an email on over!

Smooches from the sheep!
