Unwashed Wool & Fiber!
**Please note! We have unwashed wool available year round- if we are not keeping up on this page- please email the sheep!!!**
The sheep work very hard, sorting through each fleece (aka skirting) lock by lock to be sure you only receive the best part of each fleece. They always pack a little extra fiber for you just in case they DO miss a little something though. No stinker fleece allowed- the sheep's numero uno rule!
Proceeds from the sale of wool from our friends' flocks are sent directly back to the flock. This allows all of us to support local flocks that are well cared for, safe and happy. The money helps pay the way for feed, hay, vet bills- and of course, TREATS for the flocks!
**Please do not be offended if you find a bit of 'character' in our fiber- the sheep are very picky and only send out the very best part of each fleece. If you find a few pieces of hay, an oat or blade of grass in your fiber, consider it a little 'character' from some very happy sheep- who live life happily AND delight in not paying attention to our clean fleece 'rules'.... bwaaahahahaha!
The sheep try through words and pictures to present the fleeces accurately. We happily exchange any fiber you receive that does not fit into your project as planned.
