Calliope CQ Batt!

15.50

We have a new person helping us keep up with batt carding! One of my bestest ever friends Mary! She is very creative and the sheep love her - and her work. :0)

Mary used barely silver & white Romney and naturally colored mystery wool as a base for these batts. Then a lot of add ins and colors followed. She's a true Crazy Quilt batt carder now. Thank you Mary- and welcome!

Batt includes 4.5 ounces

Please note the sheep keep a very good eye on Mary when she cards her CQ Batts- but she is just like me. Card whatever turns up next, pretty much no matter what it is!

Here is a list of things you could find in our new batts:

Natural and dyed wool/fiber; Great Pyrenees fiber from our 'pack'; silks; sparkle; alpaca (huacaya &/or suri); angora bunny fiber; Tencel (dyed &/or white); silk threads or noil; wool noil; cotton noil; cotton fiber and Kapok fiber. (and I am sure there are other things you might find in our batts! Too too fun right?)

Kapok fiber is the seed pod fluff of a rain forest tree called the Ceiba tree or the silk cotton tree. The pods are harvested (mainly by hand) in the East and the trees are left standing.
