Dyed Fiber!

The sheep work here at home, carefully washing, then dyeing unique colorways that are rarely repeatable. They keep odd hours and tend to fly by the seat of their pants. They never write down recipes, lists of colors or ANY-thing...just having fun and sprinkle in a little karma special for you!

We use a combination of any dyes I can get my hands on, including Rit, Easter egg dye, food coloring, Wilton cake icing dyes (not the candy dyes), kool aid, commercial dyes and sometimes natural dye if I can squeeze time in for that too!

I am a bit heavy handed with the dyes so even though I rinse and spin the wool/fiber out after it is cooled, there may be some additional dye that rinses out when your projects are finished. The colors ARE color fast. As I mentioned, I am a bit off the beaten path...
